You can "vote for Jesus" all you want - but if you falsely prophecize in His name or do works in His name yet do not obey G-d, He will tell you to 'go away, I never knew you'. G-d calls those who interpret omens DETESTABLE and calls the prophecies of false prophets an ABOMINATION. He also says a sign between Him and His people (included GRAFTED IN believers) is keeping Shabbat - and He calls eating pork and shellfish an ABOMINATION (Since G-d is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow - it means these things are commanded of Him TODAY)
False prophet Tony Ellsworth can "vote for Jesus" all he wants but if he continues his wicked omen interpretations and false prophecies, Messiah Yeshua will reject him:
Matthew 7
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Tony Ellsworth (5 Nov 2008) "...Voted for Jesus"
…Voted for Jesus
~
1 Samuel 6: 6-7 and 22
6 …Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the Lord. 7 And the Lord said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.
22 And the Lord said to Samuel, Hearken unto their voice, and make them a king…
In Bush’s first two terms I voted for him. I’m not ashamed to say so. Before he ran there was no such media titled segment called “evangelical” at least not that anyone secular paid attention to. It was obvious to see a man publicly acknowledging God, quoting scripture and much more – no wonder the “evangelical” segment voted for him.
Yet here we are eight years later sliding into great tribulation. I’m not blaming anyone in particular; I just think it upholds exactly what is written above in God’s word in the book of Samuel. Israel did get their “perfect choice” for their first king – King Saul. Clearly it did not turn out how they had hoped, and even with faithful King David there were serious troubles. Throughout Israel’s history some of the kings recognized Jehovah as God and things were tolerable, maybe even pleasant, but overall it was a plummeting ride that ended up in the ruin of the country and people including death and captivity.
Some believe and have called Barak Obama a “messiah”. Others believe that McCain is the lesser of two evils. I understand the later viewpoint myself since I am an avid supporter of life for unborn children and also protecting marriage and keeping it sacred.
Yet the night before the election I said to myself “not this time – this time I’m voting for Jesus”. I have to admit thoughts of all those unborn babies, our troops, my family and marriage all go through my head and I hear the practical political voice saying “…a vote for someone other than McCain is to help Obama”.
But then I said to myself, “self – that’s a bunch of shenanigans”. It certainly is kind of crazy, and takes a leap of faith. Of course no human eyes see my ballot as I’m crouching in the pew filling it out, and I could save myself a lot of grief by just keeping it all very personal and secret. And someone out there reading this is saying “you could save all that time and trouble by just saying a prayer and voting for Jesus in your heart.” Ya, ya, ya – but not this time! This time I’m actually doing it in dark charcoal pencil!!!
I waited my turn in line, just like every other patient voter and when it was my turn I went to the pew and looked at John McCain’s name, Barak Obama’s name, Ralph Nader’s name and the others and I went quickly past them all to the blank spot. Did you know they let you do that??? Yes, you can and so I did. That simple. Come to think of it I was in the same church four years ago voting for George Bush. Nothing against him, but today I found it strange to be sitting in a church, a place of worship and Bible study and not “vote for Jesus”.
So there it was…this time I voted for Jesus! I think he does care and I know He sees. No human saw, but He did. As a rather ordinary citizen I can’t do a lot of things, my power and choices are limited. I know the media and everyone else haven’t mentioned anything about voting for Jesus. But Jesus did campaign for it and I strongly believe He is coming back very, very soon and when I meet Him face to face I want to be able to shake his hand (and hug Him!) and say “I voted for you Jesus!”.
Maranatha!
Tony
* P.S. – I was thrilled today when I signed it to vote and they let me know I was voter 108. As some of you may know Psalm 108 is said by many to relate to this prophetic year. Here are a few verses:
5 Be exalted O God, above the heavens, And your glory above all the earth. 6 that your beloved may be delivered, Save with your right hand, and answer me!
12 Oh give us help against the adversary, For deliverance by man is in vain. 13 Through God we will do valiantly, And it is He who shall tread down our adversaries.
I also want to say that maybe today you didn’t vote for Jesus or maybe you didn’t vote at all…
Who cares!
Jesus sees you and knows your heart. Just because I felt led to do this today and write about doesn’t diminish anything between you and Him. I had joy in doing this and I love to write – so here it is!
May Jesus rule forever in the Holy of Holies we call our hearts, May we see His face soon and be with Him forevermore rejoicing together!!!
