Not only is false prophet Dan Cooney explaining away Ron Reese (et. al.) teaching that the tribulation began on october 29, 2008 with obama's infomercial - claiming it was an offer of a covenant but not the "confirming" he is now claiming 2008 may last until next spring because we do not know which calendar G-d uses. For one thing, if G-d is using the gregorian calendar as the "rapture in 2008 no matter what" false prophets claim - then it ends on december 31. Any other calendar - including the Hebrew calendar - it is NOT the year 2008 so the false prophets cannot use Psalm 108 to claim it is about the rapture in the year 2008 with any other calendar except the gregorian calendar. false prophet Dan Cooney of the five demons ("doves") web site is claiming that the false prophets have until spring before their "rapture in 2008 no matter what" prophecy fails.

Several folks have stated their belief that the 70th Week of Daniel has begun and it began a few nights before the election when Obama gave that big television speech. I would like to add to the discussion. First of all, I do not pretend to know if they are correct and the 70th week has or is beginning or not. Rather, I just want to point out a couple things about covenant. Covenant is a multi-step process that takes more than one person and has to be a two-way exchange. And then there is a signing ceremony or exchange of something as a sign to all that an agreement has taken place and the covenant is in place. If this is true, Obama’s speech was an offer! A few days later came the election which was the acceptance by the people! And finally, January 20, 2009 will be the signing ceremony or exchange which publically seals the deal! Think of it as a marriage. The groom asks the bride to marry him. She accepts and there is a waiting period (engagement) (very similar to what America has going with the President-elect right now) and then finally the wedding which takes place next month. So if the 70th week is about to begin, it might not start till January 20th when the ceremony/wedding takes place between Obama and his new bride, America and the world.
A lot of you are concerned that the Rapture must begin before the end of the year 2008. May I also point out that the Jewish year doesn’t come to an end for several more months in the Spring. So if God is still working off the Hebrew calendar, we may still have a couple more months to go in this Hebrew year. So I would like to suggest that everybody relax. We still may have some more time and God still has some time to work with.
