false prophet Ted Porter claimed the united states would be using a new currency - the amero - by october 2008. Now he is all excited because people are trying to make money on obama's popularity and minting non-negotiable coins (ie: cannot be used to buy anything) and thinks that means obama's picture may be on this ficticious amero currency.
Anyone can mint any round object and call it a coin - does not mean that is is legal currency. Apparently a fact that escapes the little mind of false prophet Ted Porter.
false prophet Ted Porter makes up any numbering system to fit what he wants it to say - and he says americans have no discernment and have "fallen into apostasy" for accepting obama as the president elect? Seems he does not know what the bible says about numerology or false prophets.

If all goes as apparently planned, the Amero will replace the American and Canadian Dollar along with the Mexican Peso in 2009. This combined Amero and Euro currency or “Mark” could apparently become the “Mark” or currency of the Beast.

The following is speculation on how all this will be implemented, based on what the Bible reveals.

The word Caesar became Kaiser and was the title of the Emperors of the “Holy Roman Empire” from 962 AD to 1806 AD, and in Germany till Adolph Hitler took the place of the last Kaiser in Germany . Money has been measured in “Mark’s” in Germany , the same word used in describing the “Mark” of the Beast. Will the new currency be a Mark on a Ledger, or debit, the value of which changes? Current debit cards are usually 16 digits. Will the Amero Euro Mark be 18 digits broken up into 6 and 6 and 6?
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: Revelation 13:16
While many have speculated that something will be embedded either on or in people’s right hands or their foreheads, what happens if this is not what is meant? Will these many be deceived? What if it is actually receiving in their right hand, the Amero Euro currency, a free handout as has been promised to everyone who does not currently pay taxes. However, it states everyone, even the rich will get this possibly free handout. What about their foreheads? This is their mind, in their foreheads. A physical mark would be on their foreheads but the Bible states IN their foreheads. They could possible be told an Amero Euro Mark number, like a debit card number.
Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. Revelation 7:3
And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. Revelation 9:4
This sealing in Revelation 7:3 and 9:4 uses the same terminology. This is not thought to be a physical mark on their forehead but something else, something possibly placed in their mind akin to the saving knowledge of Our Lord Jesus Christ!
