The sign of Jonah Messiah Yeshua spoke of was the sign for the generation He lived on earth that He would be in the tomb for three days and three nights and that would show them He is their Messiah.
Jonah preached for forty days - how was that a sign for ANYTHING???
false prophets twist scripture to fit their false prophecies because most people have absolutely no discernment and prefer lies of the false prophets to G-d's Truth.
Here is the passage that the false prophets are twisting around to support their false prophecies:
Matthew 16
1 The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus and tested him by asking him to show them a sign from heaven.
2 He replied, "When evening comes, you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,' 3 and in the morning, 'Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.' You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times. 4 A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a miraculous sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah." Jesus then left them and went away.

Dear Doves,
God gave Noah a 40-day 'continuous' sign. I didn't rain for just ONE day, and then 40 days later Noah's Arc floated. It rained continuously for 40 days. God didn’t command that Jonah preach repentance to the Ninevites for just ONE day as a sign, and then 40 days later destruction would come. Jonah was commanded by God to preach repentance to the Ninevites for 40 'continuous' days before destruction would come.
I believe that the promised 'Sign of Jonah' will NOT BE A ONE DAY SIGN that we can count 40 days from, but rather a CONTINUOUS 40 DAY SIGN as promised to us in:
MATTHEW 16:4
"A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a miraculous sign, but NONE will be given it EXCEPT THE SIGN OF JONAH."
December 14th will be the 40th 'continuous' day since the 'illegitimate' election of Obama! December 15 may be a day to be watchful.
