G-d says if a prophecy fails then the person is a false prophet - yet the five demons ("doves") say "Just give us more false dates and sweet lies and tickle our ears" When someone points out that the false prophets are to not be listened to, they are the ones the five demons shuts out and shuns.
Same thing happened in Ancient Israel - Ancient Israel (including priests in the Holy Temple) prefered the lies of the false prophets to the truths of the prophets G-d sent to them. Ancient Israel told the prophet Ezekiel to 'go away, Ezekiel, we will worship G-d OUR way' when G-d sent Ezekiel to them to tell them to repent of their wicked ways. Now you have false prophets and wolves fleecing the flock and the flock tells those who bring truth to them to 'go away, we prefer the lies of the false prophets'

I had posted that October 21st is day 294 this year. Clay corrected me as it is a leap year, and it does depend on how you count as to how you look at the figure 294, but it certainly gets us into a 72 hour window.
The simple explanation is that you should watch from Sunday – Wednesday. Depending on the sighting of the moon (see *Karite Korner note below) or how you count 294 days it could have several possibilities.
· From and including: Tuesday, January 1, 2008To and including: Monday, October 20, 2008
It is 294 days from the start date to the end date, end date included
Or 9 months, 20 days including the end date
Or
· From and including: Tuesday, January 1, 2008To, but not including : Tuesday, October 21, 2008
