I am beginning to create a new timeline on the likelihood for the Rapture based on a newunderstanding of the apocalyptic date of December 21, 2012 A.D. According to this ideaI am placing this date as the mid-point of the seven year tribulation period at which the eventknown as the Abomination of Desolation takes place and the two Jewish witnesses arekilled only to be raised from the dead three and 1/2 days later on Christmas Day 2012.The prophecy plainly states that "the world will give gifts and make merry" because theseprophets that tormented them are dead. They tormented them for 1,260 days before theyare killed by Antichrist. Well...if you know the midpoint is December 21, 2012 then you should count backwardsand you will arrive at a starting point for the 7 year tribulation in the spring of the year 2009approximately in mid-May. I'm looking seriously at Ascension Day in 2009 as a very likelydate for the Rapture. Some of you number crunchers out there ought to be working outthe dates more exactly than I can using Time and Date computer calculations with moredetail.
