Diane Chapman would rather compromise with evil than suffer persecution

Anyone who gives out halloween candy instead of cleaning up a little egg is compromising with evil instead of standing for what they claim to believe in.

I would rather clean up the egg than compromise with evil. Would Diane Chapman rather take the mark of the antimessiah than face beheading? She can't even stand up for her faith when threatened with a little egg cleanup.

Diane Chapman (29 Oct 2008) "a different kind of Halloween"

Doing it differently this Halloween

Well, Halloween is upon us again. While being a Christian I certainly don’t “celebrate” the day, I do give out candy to the kids because it’s easier than cleaning the egg off the house and cars (we have some rough kids around here).

That said, I thought I’d do things a little differently this year. I usually engage in a capitalistic Halloween. I get a variety of different candies from the store and reward the more elaborate costumes with more candy. If the child or teen has made a good effort in their costume, I give them a few of pieces of candy. If the kid just put on a hat or mask – or like many of the teens that come later, they don’t dress up at all - they just get one piece. The kids that try harder get more.

I thought I’d try a socialistic approach this Halloween. An Obama-ween if you will. I will only buy one kind of candy, and each child gets only one piece, whether they have a costume or not. This seems fair. I am redistributing the candy. Everyone only gets one piece, so I will not have to buy as much in these economically hard times. I can take the extra money I would spend rewarding the good costumes and redistribute it into my bank account, where I will use it for administrative costs such as the electricity for the light on the porch on Halloween night.

No incentive for dressing up – everyone gets the same. Sounds pretty boring huh. Why even try? Why aim to succeed if the more I succeed, the more is taken from me to give to others who don’t? If I were the kids in this redistributed candy system, I would just throw a sheet over my head, cut a couple of eye holes in it and be a ghost, because that is what will happen to our capitalistic and creative society if the socialists have their way.

Happy Halloween and BOO. This should really be a scary one!

Blessings to you in the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, whom I will continue to watch and wait for, no matter how many predictive rapture dates come and go.

If I age and die before the rapture, so be it. The destination is the same, Glory to God!!
