false prophet Tony Ellsworth said the Phillies getting to the world series meant the rapture would happen on october 29, 2008 (it is now the 30th) although he is not deterred that the rapture did not happen - he is STILL claiming the Phillies win is a sign for the rapture.
As usual, the false prophets never admit they are wrong - they just continue claiming their omen interpretation was correct even though it was obviously wrong. G-d calls those who interpret omens (such as Tony Ellsworth) DETESTABLE (I've posted the verse numerous times recently)

This was a delayed game from Monday in a 7 game series.
They played 3.5 innings to finish the game (3.5 X 2 = 7)
In the 7th inning the “Devil Rays” tied up the score 3 – 3
Then during Philadelphia’s at bat in the 7th #7 hit the run in that would ultimately be the winning run to go ahead 4 – 3 (7 total runs scored).
Philadelphia pitcher in the 7th inning was named J.C.
It was Philadelphia’s last chance to win at home.
Philadelphia’s uniform is crimson & white
