16.fall from grace,
a. Theology. to relapse into sin or disfavor.
b. to lose favor; be discredited: He fell from grace when the boss found out he had lied.
In the prophet Ezekiel's time the false prophets infested the Holy Temple. G-d showed their wickedness to him before sending Ezekiel to tell them to repent (Ezekiel chapter 8) Instead of repenting, they told Ezekiel 'go away, Ezekiel, we will serve Adonai [G-d] OUR way' They said this to him even though G-d sent him to tell them to repent! Most so-called "christians" today are the VERY SAME - they claim they do not have to obey G-d and that He gives them false rapture dates and unbiblical dreams and visions, takes them to heaven, and communicates to them through numbers, license plates, and even by who won the world series. If G-d communicated to them in this way, NONE of their prophecies would have failed yet they (thousands of failed prophecies) have a 100% FAILURE rate.
False prophets such as the five demon's ("doves") Ted Porter claims that as long as you claim "Jesus" as Savior you do not have to obey Him (ie: accept and follow Him as L-rd of your life) Messiah Yeshua was clear that the road is NARROW and FEW find it. If accepting Messiah Yeshua as Savior (without following Him and obeying Him as L-rd) was all it took to escape judgement then the way would not be narrow. Messiah Yeshua said once you enter the narrow gate (accept Him as Messiah) then you must also stay on the narrow path. People find the straight gate but the question is, will they stick to the narow path or stray over to the broad road? Nobody can snatch them from the narrow path but they can choose to travel the broad road to hell if that is what they want.
Messiah Yeshua said He will reject those who do not obey Torah even if they claim they were serving Him:
Matthew 7
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
