I guess false prophet Tracy Dee "creeps out" easily. GPS has been around for years and is used for hiking and aviation navigation and for locating missing hikers and hunters. The advertisement she is "creeped out" over is bringing the same technology for personal use that can be used to locate you via your cell phone or Onstar (in some vehicles)
Personal GPS devises have been used for geocashing and to find your way around in unfamiliar areas. A similar system was used to track the weather balloon - lawnchair pilot as he ventured from bemd oregon to idaho last summer. This is nothing new and this technology can be used for good as well as evil (as can the internet, LoJack, Onstar, cell phones, microchips, RFID, and numerous other personal tracking inventions)
This product looks pretty cool - although the monthly service fee would make it cost prohibitive for most uses.

I was watching the History channel at 11:20 last night (watching is too kind a word-I was filtering it thru closed eyelids!) when my internal alarm went off like a GONG!!!! They had a commercial on for....I kid you not-a product called "zoomback". I ran in to my computer, and found the product(s) on the first try! It is a "personal GPS locator device" that helps lost things (I guess) 'zoom-back'! Go see for yourself: www.zoombak.com
is the site. They have them for pets, luggage, and (really!) your teenager! The device also keeps a record of EVERYWHERE you went for SEVEN days in 15 min increments! If you pause in one place for any length of time, it makes a virtual 'push-pin' picture on a map to show where you stayed! How many 'travelling spouses' are going to have one slipped into their briefcase the next time they travel for business? There a LOADS of uses for it on their site, with more to come (I'll bet!). Gee...if the public is selling them with longterm tracking capabilities, I wonder how much better the one the gov't. has is? (Don't be ignorant about THAT...theirs is LIGHT YEARS past anything they will be selling to the public!)
I am very 'prophecy-savy'....but THIS has my pulse racing...I had to stop looking. Does anyone but ME feel the icy chill of EVIL all over their site?
I am very up on current events-but I am FLOORED by this one!
