Messiah Yeshua said He will reject those who do not obey G-d
Matthew 7
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
false prophet FM Riley says there is NOTHING in the "New Covenant" that says we have to obey the ten commandments or Torah ???
What does false prophet F.M. Riley disagree with - that we are not to comit adultery??? (I bet his wife would want to know that!) or we are to not murder??? or we are not to have other "gods" ? or that we are to not lie or covet other property??? Just what does this wicked false prophet claim violates Messiah Yeshua's teachings? In fact, if Messiah Yeshua taught to disobey G-d, He would have been a false prophet. The only one of the "ten commandments" that most so-called "christians" disagree with is keeping the Sabbath day holy.
Here are the ten commandments:
1: 'You shall have no other gods before Me.'
2: 'You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.'
3: 'You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.'
4: 'Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.'
5: 'Honor your father and your mother.'
6: 'You shall not murder.'
7: 'You shall not commit adultery.'
8: 'You shall not steal.'
9: 'You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.'
10: 'You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.'
Here is what G-d says about the Sabbath:
Isaiah 56
1 This is what the LORD says: "Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is close at hand and my righteousness will soon be revealed. 2 Blessed is the man who does this, the man who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath without desecrating it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil." 3 Let no foreigner who has bound himself to the LORD say, "The LORD will surely exclude me from his people." And let not any eunuch complain, "I am only a dry tree." 4 For this is what the LORD says: "To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, who choose what pleases me and hold fast to my covenant- 5 to them I will give within my temple and its walls a memorial and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that will not be cut off. 6 And foreigners who bind themselves to the LORD to serve him, to love the name of the LORD, and to worship him, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to my covenant- 7 these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations." 8 The Sovereign LORD declares— he who gathers the exiles of Israel: "I will gather still others to them besides those already gathered."
Isaiah 58
13 "If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath and from doing as you please on my holy day, if you call the Sabbath a delight and the LORD's holy day honorable, and if you honor it by not going your own way and not doing as you please or speaking idle words, 14 then you will find your joy in the LORD, and I will cause you to ride on the heights of the land and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob." The mouth of the LORD has spoken.
Nehemiah 13
15 In those days I saw men in Judah treading winepresses on the Sabbath and bringing in grain and loading it on donkeys, together with wine, grapes, figs and all other kinds of loads. And they were bringing all this into Jerusalem on the Sabbath. Therefore I warned them against selling food on that day. 16 Men from Tyre who lived in Jerusalem were bringing in fish and all kinds of merchandise and selling them in Jerusalem on the Sabbath to the people of Judah. 17 I rebuked the nobles of Judah and said to them, "What is this wicked thing you are doing—desecrating the Sabbath day? 18 Didn't your forefathers do the same things, so that our God brought all this calamity upon us and upon this city? Now you are stirring up more wrath against Israel by desecrating the Sabbath."
Here is what Messiah Yeshua said about HIS Torah. (Messiah Yeshua is G-d and He gave Torah - He is TORAH (the Word)
Matthew 5
17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.
John 14
15 If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.
Here are some of the other parts of Torah ("the law") false prophet "pastor" FM Riley disagrees with. Since "pastor" FM Riley is a false prophet, it is very easy to see which of G-d;s laws he disagrees with :
Exodus 20:2 - To believe in God
Deuteronomy 6:4 -To acknowledge the Unity of God
Deuteronomy 6:5 - To love God
Deuteronomy 6:13 - To fear God
Exodus23:25; Deuteronomy11:13; 13:5 - To serve God
Deuteronomy10:20 - To cleave to God
Deuteronomy10:20 - On taking an oath by God's Name
Deuteronomy 28:9 - On walking in God's ways
Leviticus22:32 - On Sanctifying God's Name
Deuteronomy7:26 Do not use anything connected with idols or idolatry
Deuteronomy18:20 Not prophesying in the name of idols
Deuteronomy18:20 Not prophesying falsely in the Name of God
Deuteronomy13:3-4 Listen not to one who prophesies in the name of idols
Deuteronomy18:10 Not practicing soothsaying
Deuteronomy18:10 Not practicing enchanting
Deuteronomy18:10 Not practicing sorcery
Deuteronomy18:10 Not practicing the art of the charmer
Deuteronomy18:10 Not consulting a necromancer who uses the ov
Deuteronomy18:10 Not consulting a sorcerer who uses the ydo'a
Leviticus18:20 No relations with another man's wife
Leviticus18:23 Men may not lie with beasts
Leviticus18:23 Women may not lie with beasts
Leviticus18:22 A man may not lie carnally with another man
Leviticus18:7 A man may not lie carnally with his father
Since Messiah Yeshua is G-d then He is the author of the Torah and since He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow and His law was important before He came and is important in His Millenial Kingdome then how can it not be important today??? Just which of the above laws do the false prophets such as "pastor" FM Riley have trouble with??? (maybe that they are not allowed to comit beastiality???)
John 14
15 If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.
Isn't it ludicrous to think one can love Messiah Yeshua without obeying His laws (ie: TORAH) ???

F.M. Riley (12 Dec 2008) "God's Laws and Commandments"
God’s Laws and Commandments
++++++++++
Pastor Riley,
Does God’s Word clearly define which laws and commandments a 2008 Gentile believer needs to keep?
Thank you,
_______________
++++++++++
Dear __________,
I am sorry I haven’t gotten back to you sooner, but limited time, doctor’s appointments, therapy, etc. have prevented me from answering as soon as I would have liked.
Brother, New Testament believers are under “the commandments of Christ” as contained in the New Covenant.
Many people today, especially some “Messianic Jews,” are trying to make “the commandments of Christ” synonymous with the Ten Commandments and the 613 commandments of the Jewish Law. I don’t care how hard they try, there is absolutely no Scriptural proof that the commandments of Christ set forth in the New Testament are the same as the Ten Commandments given to Moses for the children of Israel, nor are they the same as the 613 commandments contained in the Jewish Law.
Such “false teaching” is just another vain attempt on the part of unbelieving legalistic Jews to bring Gentile believers back under the burden of Jewish Law. Read Galatians 2:1-10 [notice especially verse 4] and Acts 15:1-31. This question of New Testament believers being under any part of the Jewish Law was settled by the Apostles themselves at the first church council in Acts 15. Compare Ephesians 2:19-22 and Galatians 3:24-26. Then read 1 Timothy 1:5-11, and ask yourself if you fit the description of the man for whom the Law was made in verses 9-10. If you don’t, then you have no need of the Law given to Israel, which God’s Word repeatedly points out that the Jews themselves never kept and cannot keep.
The Lord Jesus Christ Himself clearly stated in John 14:21 and 14:23-24 that our “love” for Him as New Testament believers is not displayed or revealed by keeping the Old Testament Law of works [Romans 11:5-6], but our “love” for the Lord is displayed by keeping His New Testament commandments and His Word.
If you want to know how to live for the Lord Jesus in 2008, then study the New Testament and let its teachings permeate your soul and life. As New Testament believers, we use the Old Testament for types, shadows, examples, and “instruction in righteousness” and knowledge of the prophetic Word. See 1 Corinthians 10:1-11, Romans 15:4, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, and 2 Peter 1:19-21.
We New Testament believers are not Jews, and the Jewish Law was never given to us. We have no obligation to observe the Jewish Laws and Holy Days, which were given to the Jewish people and to them alone. See Deuteronomy 4:1-8, noticing especially verses 7-8, and Leviticus 23:1-2. If these statements explicitly addressed to Israel and the Jewish people don’t mean what they say, and say what they mean, then we might as well throw away the whole Bible and quit pretending to be “Christian” believers. The very first and basic rule for “rightly dividing the Word of truth,” [2 Timothy 2:15] is: Determine WHO is speaking, WHO is being spoken to, and WHAT is being spoken about. Unless this rule is diligently followed, there is no way that anyone can “rightly divide” or make sense out of God’s Word, or any other book ever written or in existence.
You might also notice that the inspired Apostle in the New Testament book of 1 Corinthians made an explicit difference, even in this present dispensation, between “the Jews, …..the Gentiles,” and “the church of God,” 1 Corinthians 10:32. If you would seriously look, every Scripture stating that “there is no difference” is in the context of salvation. Check it out for yourself. During this present dispensation every person, regardless of their nationality, MUST come to the Lord for salvation the same way. That doesn’t change or alter the fact in the least that during this dispensation the Jew is still a Jew, the Gentile is still a Gentile, and “the church of God” is a new body, made up of both Jewish and Gentile believers, Ephesians 2:11-22.
Dear brother, I don’t know whether this answer will be satisfactory to you or not, but I do know that it is a Scriptural answer, 1 Thessalonians 5:21. That is more than I can say for those who are trying to put Gentile believers back under Jewish Law. I trust that the Lord will use my answer to bless your life, and to enlighten others. Thank you for writing. God bless you. I’ll meet you soon in glory. Pray for me.
