Actually, what you are refering to John, is how to UNIQUELY solve a problem. You need as many equations as unknowns. When you have more unknowns than equations, then there are multiple solutions.

I wrote a program to solve this problem. Too many variables to do by hand. Unfortunately, it took a long time to run. The inner loop took 7 milliseconds to run on my computer. Doesn't sound like much, but since it has to run 27^27 times, essentially that means it would take 4.35 * 10^31 seconds or 8.2 * 10^25 years to run (That's 10 to the 25th power years!!!). Yeshua will return before then. So I figured if I wanted to get an answer to this problem, I needed to remove the letters not included in his name. That cut the time down to only 3 * 10^14 years, but that is still beyond our lifetimes. So I cut out Obama's middle name, and finally got it down to something that could run in a few hours.

Here's a few results of combinations that will make "Barack Obama" add up to 666 if I allow myself ANY scheme of my own choosing.

If you set....

A = 1B = 2C = 3K = 5M = 10O = 40R = 600
You can set the other letters to anything you want and "Barack Obama" adds up to 666. Of course, there's many more combinations, like....

A = 1B = 2C = 6K = 5M = 40O = 7R = 600
Why would someone use either of these? Beats me, unless its simply to make "Barack Obama" add up to 666. There's GOBS of ways you can do this.

My computer will need 3-4 hours to tell me HOW MANY different ways one could arrange the assigments to make Barak Obama add up to 666. So maybe I can run it today and let you know the answer tomorrow. But the name "John Tng" only has 6 unique letters, and that only took a few minutes for my computer to crunch how many ways you can assign the alphabet to make "John Tng" add up to 666. Of course, we all know John is not the False Messiah. So perhaps his name, being short, and obviously not the False Messiah, makes for an even better demonstration on why arbitrariness in assigning numbers to letters is fruitless.

I wrote a computer program which did the math and told me that there are 9.7 * 10 ^ 34 ways I can assign each letter of the alphabet a unique value (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, 9, 10, 20, 30...up to 800) to make "John Tng" add up to 666. Of course, it would all be convoluted.

....BUT.....

all those methods would make more sense than a scheme where

A=6
B=12
C=18 etc

because ALL of those 9.7 * 10^34 ways of doing it let you count ALL possible numbers. The A=6, B=12 scheme can't count 83% of all possible mathematical numbers, making it a useless scheme for counting. Whereas all 9.7 * 10^34 ways of getting "John Tng" to add up to 666 can be used to perform accurate math on any legitimate number. So any of them make more sense than using the scheme that the whole "Barack Obama" fuss is based on.

Coming up with SOME scheme where "Barack Obama" adds up to 666 is not impressive. There's many ways of doing it. What would be impressive is if it works using a system that HAS BEEN ACTUALLY USED FOR SOMETHING in the past. The Roman numeral system might make some sense. (I=1, V=5, X=10, etc). Adding up ASCII values might make sense, since at least that would not be arbitrary, although it's not really used for anything like Hebrew or Greek letters were used. If his name added up to 666 in Hebrew or Greek the way those numbers have been traditionally assigned for ages, that might mean something. But getting his name to add up to anything using a scheme that can't add 2 and 2 together and give you the results is a waste of time to examine.

Before doing any calculations as to whether someone's name adds up to 666, I think we need to use a scheme that has actually been used for something and is not arbitrary in order for the results to mean anything.__Joe,Granted, the common value is not Biblical, but the standard, ordinal and reduced values are (see

By contrast, your effort proves fruitless because all your solutions are arbitrary and not Biblical, even though you can come up with a scheme to artificially assign 666 to any name.Please note that the standard values of Barack Hussein Obama and Barry Soetoro are 793 & 1458. The number of the beast is not explicitly there (you're barking up the wrong tree, er, number.) Evidence #6 in my article documents the hidden 666 appearing 6+6+6 times when Obama is in his 666th month since birth. Evidence #1 is the key evidence that breaks the 666 code using the standard value of Barack Hussein Obama, 793, which is a common factor in the verse numbers of the four 666 scriptures.As we know, six the number of man.
