christmass (ba-almass) is the pagan celebration of tammuz' (ba-al) birthday and is an ABOMINATION to G-d.
G-d says to NOT mix ANY pagan worship with worship of Him (Ezekiel chapter 8 for one - and Aaron's golden calf for two) celebrating ba-almass is like taking statues of isis and horus and calling them the "virgin mary" and "baby jesus" and calling the worship of them "christian" (which is what the catholic church did and still does)

"CHRISTMAS GREETINGS TO YOU"
I am always reminded during this season of an encounter we had with a local Santa when my 37- year old daughter was about 6 or 7. Her school principal played Santa at a local store, a forerunner of WalMart in our town called B&W. We were shopping there one Saturday and Santa walked up to her and said, "Hello, Katie. Have you been a good girl this year?" Her big blue eyes got as wide as saucers. Santa called her by name. I did tell her years later who Santa was, but she was just amazed. It wasn't "Hello, little girl". It was actually "Hello Katie!" It amazes me that God knows my name and not only does He know my name, He actually has another name for me that only He knows and will be revealed only after I get to Heaven and He hands me the white stone with my name written on it. That leads to another story. Last year, after my Dad died, I was given a letter he had written to me shortly after my birth. In the letter he told me he had a special name for me. Dad never called me by that name that I know of. I was always Dawn to him. The special name he gave me was D D, but he never called me by that name. What a warm glow I felt as I read the letter from Dad. And God also has a special name for me. How exciting it will be when I receive that name! Merry Christmas
I know it's early but i want to be the 1st. With 3 weeks before Christmas REMEMBER: Jesus is Better than Santa Santa lives at the North Pole. JESUS is everywhere. Santa rides in a sleigh JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water. Santa comes but once a year JESUS is an ever present help. Santa fills your stockings with goodies JESUS supplies all your needs. Santa comes down your chimney uninvited JESUS stands at your door and knocks.. and then enters your heart. You have to stand in line to see Santa JESUS is as close as the mention of His name. Santa lets you sit on his lap JESUS lets you rest in His arms. Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or girl, What's your name?" JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too. He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads. Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly JESUS has a heart full of love. All Santa can offer is HO HO HO JESUS offers health, help and hope. Santa says "You better not cry" JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you. Santa's little helpers make toys JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions. Santa may make you chuckle but JESUS gives you joy that is your strength. While Santa puts gifts under your tree JESUS became our gift and died on the tree. It's obvious there is really no comparison. We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about. We need to put Christ back in Christmas. Jesus is still the reason for the season. May the Lord Bless and Watch over you and your loved ones this Christmas 2008 And may He prosper and bless the work of your hands in the New Year.
