We are definitely not in Daniels 70th week (the tribulation) because that starts when the antimessiah confirms the covenant with many (which includes Israel) for one week. obama's infomercial on october 29, 2008 was not a confirmation of a seven year covenant with anyone (presidents are elected for four years, not seven) and was nothing more than a narcissist lying to his gullible followers. You can't confirm a covenant unless you have the authority to do so. As a presidential CANDIDATE, there is no authority to confirm any covenant that depends on being president to carry it out. You can make campaign promises but that is not a covenant.
The agenda is by those who claim obama confirmed a covenant on october 29, 2008 and that it started the tribulation (and yet the false prophets that teach this garbage still claim to believe in a pre tribulation rapture???)

Yes, Ron, I agree we are in the last 7 years, the 70th Week. And I believe it began on Rosh Hashanah 2007/2008 of the Jewish New Year with a 7 year Sabbatical cycle which will end in 2015. I agree that the lunar and solar eclipses will be evidence of his 2nd Coming in the sun, moon, and stars. And, I believe the autumn of 2015 begins not just a new Sabbatical year but also a JUBILEE YEAR!!! I also agree that the “confirming of the covenant with many for ONE WEEK” indicates that that Week is the 70TH WEEK of Daniel.
All of these things simply add more strength to the analogy of the three Weeks of Jacob's Trouble. So many things are right before our eyes that it is almost impossible to deny them....only those who want their agenda to fit God Word's make an argument against it.
Israel was born in a day - 1948. The Fig Tree (Israel) grew leaves (matured) and re-unified Jerusalem in 1967. That was the key to the last generation. As time passed, there would necessarily have to be another key event that unlocked the time of the end and I believe the 1993 Oslo Accord -recognition of Israel's right to exist in the Land- was the key that would enable us to follow Jacob's Trouble as it progressed through the three-week analogy of Israel's "trouble."
Then there was the ending of 6,000 years according to the Jewish calendar.....and the Israeli Rabbis announcing WE ARE IN THE TIME OF JACOB'S TROUBLE.
Four years later the Sanhedrin was re-convened.....a prophetic event that passed by without much understanding of the significance of it (YOU SHALL NOT SEE ME AGAIN UNTIL YOU -the Jewish leaders, the Sanhedrin- SHALL SAY, BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD. So they are now on the scene awaiting their prophetic role when "they see Him for the second time."
The issue I disagree with is that of the covenant.....I do not believe it is the "covenant" Obama made with (basically) the world at his announcement. I DO believe that Daniel KNEW what the Covenant was.....the Abrahamic Covenant which is tied to the Land of Israel and which will be the bone of contention throughout the end times....Jerusalem the cup of trembling to the whole world. I believe Obama will "recognize Israel's right to exist" and bring about a restructured Oslo which will divide the Land for peace. (think Palestinian State.) this will result in a temporary false state of peace & security.
I believe we entered the 70th Week, which is simply a passage of time as any other "time.". It's prophetic nature is seen in the events that will take place within it. The reckoning or counting of time cannot be changed back and forth from 360 days to 365 days just to make something "fit." It will be a regular Week of years based on 365 days per year - with the prophetic times of 1260 & 1260 designating each half of the Week which will see the prophetic events taking place. that is why it is not necessary for the confirming of the Covenant to be at the very beginning of the Week. The days which are "left over" from the 2520 prophetic days will leave the extra days to be taken up with the details of the aftermath of His Coming, leading up to the fulfillment of the First Fall Feast - Feast of Trumpets - for His Annointing and Crowning.
I take issue with the idea that you see His coming as being ON Yom Kippur because He cannot fulfill the Second Fall Feast BEFORE the First Fall Feast. He will do everything according to the EXACT DAY in order just as He did on Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, and Pentecost. He will also fulfill the Fall Feasts AFTER the 70th Week ENDS just as He did the Spring Feasts AFTER the 69th Week ended.
That the Rapture has not taken place at the beginning of the 70th Week does not matter. Right now Jesus is our High Priest, our Advocate before the Father because there is an Accuser present before the throne of God. As long as there are living Believers and as long as there is still the issue of SIN, we need Jesus as our Advocate. But when there is no longer an Accuser (because he is cast out and down permanently to earth) then there is also no longer a NEED for an Advocate. He will descend from Heaven with a shout and take us up. Since satan comes down in the midst of the Week (just shortly before the mid-point) then I see the Resurrection/Rapture taking place shortly before the "midst of the Week "(early 2011 since March is the mid-point.)
When satan is cast to earth, he will receive limited power to empower the antichrist. Believers won't be here to see it, but I expect the antichrist will declare himself god at Passover 2011, an imitation of Jesus. And then the jig is up! When he sets up the idol/image among the people (who are the Temple of God) and demands worship, the Jews will flee, and all hell will break loose.
I've left out details and scriptural references just to simplify this. But they are there. I know this will be met with denials and arguments....but what I hope it leaves you with are questions.....Questions on how your view fits in with these unavoidable facts. We don't have very long left. And to that I say Hallelujah!
