If all the false prophets were being given their signs from G-d, why are they prophecying so many different dates for the rapture???
Deuteronomy 18:10-12 "There shall not be found among you anyone who uses divination or who practices witchcraft or one who interprets omens or is a sorcerer or who casts a spell or is a medium or a spiritist or who calls up the dead. For whosoever does these things is detestable to the Lord."
II Tim 4:3-4
3 For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.
Matthew 7
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Four hundred years ago, in 1609, the Dutch explorer Henry Hudson discovered the Hudson River.
This year, in 2009, New York City will celebrate the 400th anniversary of ths event on June 6, 2009. Also, in 2009, American Airways Flight 1549 flew for a few minutes before landing safely in the Hudson River in view of a million or so observers along the Hudson.
1 Cor. 15:49 "And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly." This is clearly a reference that can be applied to the transformation believers will experience at the time of the rapture/resurrection when Jesus descends in the clouds (1 Cor. 15:51, 1 Thess. 4:16-18)
One hundred years ago, in 1909, Orville Wright flew his Flyer III up and down the Hudson River in sight of a million observers and circled the Statue of Liberty.
There were 400 years between the Old and New Testaments, Malachi to Matthew. Could this time period relate to the 400th anniversary (1609 to 2009).
