One thing for sure - when a false prophet's rapture date fails they will either add days to it and claim it was a "rapture warning" (which is unbiblical) or they claim another event happened that day so they can trivilize the fact that they are a false prophet and their prophecy failed.
false prophet Tony Ellsworth clearly stated that the rapture would be on february 2, 2009. The prophecy failed so now he is trying to say something "significant" happened to minimalize the fact his prophecy clearly failed.
II Tim 4:3-4
3 For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

Although the Rapture did not occur on February 2nd there were two significant prophetic happenings which I’d like to point out:
1. Iran launched their first space program. Remember the Daniel and “Prince of Persia” reference:

2. Also, Libyan leader Moamar Gaddafi has been elected chairman of the African Union at a summit of the 53 nation bloc in the Ethiopian capital on Monday.
3. All of this happened as the moon passed over the Pleiades (and Monday is “moon day”):
