The current state of affairs concerning the US efforts to pass a financial rescue plan in order to maintain the American economy is spoken of in Dan 11:20 (NIV)
“His successor will send out a tax collector to maintain the royal splendor. In a few years, however, he will be destroyed, yet not in anger or in battle.
Paraphrasing this verse:
President Bush directs the Federal Reserve Chairman to preserve the economy. However, in a few days Bush’s tenure will end after the elections.
The main difference between the verses in the NIV vs. the KJV is that few years (NIV) is noted as few days (KJV), so at this point I’m inclined to go with the KJV, because the Presidential elections are scheduled for November 4.
Guess, what is spoken of next in verses Dan 11:21-23? The upcoming 2008 Presidential elections, now things are really getting scary, because the winner appears to be the man of sin that is revealed in scripture.
