Daniel W. Matson - unrepentant false prophet

When Daniel Matson's rapture date prophecies he does not repent - he just writes yet another book. The sad thing is he still has a following and people continue to buy his books even after he proves himself to be a false prophet. Of course, he quotes the scripture about mockers in the last days - although like all other false prophets, he claims the mockers of their false rapture dates is the same thing as mocking Yeshua's imminent return. What they cannot comprehend is the fact that there are those who watch each and every day and yet do not buy into their false rapture dates or numerology. Yes, Yeshua is about to return and I am watching for Him today (and if He does not return today, I will watch for Him tomorrow) I do NOT hold to the false prophets rapture dates. Yeshua clearly said we would NOT know the day or the hour and He said He would return AT A TIME WE THINK NOT. Yet there are those who continue to conjure up rapture dates (even before some of their previous dates have failed!) and they think they are being obedient and doing G-d's service??? Messiah Yeshua said He will reject those who prophecy in His name if they are disobedient to G-d.

Here is from Daniel Matson's web page (http://jesus2006.org/ ) :

Signs of the End saw the significance of Rosh Hashanah 2006 as the possible Rapture time. All other pages posted on the website since 2006 focussed on the possibilities for 2007. However, the main thrust of the book is that the Tribulation or Daniel's 70th Week runs from 2010 to 2017. The dates of 2006 and 2007 seem to provide a significant tie in to the dates of 2010-2017. The following links will be to pages that support 2010 as the beginning of Daniel's 70th Week. The Rapture must occur before, if this is the time.

The major adjustment to the thesis of the book is that the dates found in 2006 and 2007 are warning dates all linking themselves to dates in 2010 to 2017. They were not dates for the Rapture or the War of Ezekiel. This would mean that the seven years needed to burn the weapons of the Magog Alliance would be the similar years of Daniel's 70th Week to preserve the 2010-2017 hypothesis.
