Many people have asked me to explain why I do not hold to the forty year "biblical" generation myth that is believed by many so-called "christians". The reason I do not believe it is because it is not biblical and is not taught anywhere in the bible. It is satanic propaganda that is used to set so-called rapture dates (Which contradicts the biblical view that no man knows the day or hour and Yeshua will return when we think not)
The forty year generation myth (LIE), as far as I can figure out, was first taught by Hal Lindsay in his book "The Late Great Planet Earth" and has since been regurgitated by most prophecy "experts" ever since. Apparently few of the so-called "experts" read their bibles for themselves. (side note: Hal Lindsay is an adulterer and teaches the lie of once saved always saved to cover his adultery and sins)
The forty years was given to Israel as a time of wandering in the wilderness because of their disobedience so that those over age twenty would die off. What most so-called "experts" fail to see are the parts where those over twenty would die off (leaving those that are younger than that - a part of the generation - to enter the Promised Land) and where some were killed off while wandering which further skewed the population age. Moses and Aaron were 120 when they died right before Israel entered the Promised Land and Caleb and Joshua were allowed to enter the Promised Land - all were part of the generation that left egypt. Why are these facts ignored by the so-called "experts" ??? It is so their sin of date setting can be made to fit their unbiblical forty year generation.
Numbers 32
11 Surely none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I swore unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed Me;
12 save Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite, and Joshua the son of Nun; because they have wholly followed the LORD. 13 And the LORD'S anger was kindled against Israel, and He made them wander to and fro in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of the LORD, was consumed.
